Rhona Mitra

Mitra appeared as the live-action model for Lara Croft, the lead character in Eidos Interactive's Tomb Raider video game series prior to the time Angelina Jolie took the role for the two Tomb Raider films (2001-2003). Mitra was ranked No. 46 in Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2000. She played Christopher Lambert's love interest in Beowulf. Her first main role came as Scott Wolf's illicit love interest in Party of Five. Mitra had a small role in Hollow Man, a film about a neighbor who is raped and murdered by Kevin Bacon. She played the lead role in the medical drama Gideon's Crossing, as Alejandra "Ollie" Klein. Then, Mitra had roles in Ali G Indahouse's Sweet Home Alabama, Stuck on You and also a leading role in Highwaymen, Spartacus, and in the movie "The Practice". Mitra appeared in the finale season of The Practice as Tara Wilson, and continued that character in the spin-off Boston Legal, but left shortly after the start of the second season. In 2005, Mitra played the role of Kit McGraw during season 3 of Nip/Tuck. Then, Mitra appeared in Skinwalkers, The Number 23 & Shooter. In 2008, Mitra played the role of Major Eden Sinclair in the science-fiction/action film Doomsday. She was sometimes misidentified in databases as Caryn Peterson. In 2009, Mitra stars in Underworld: Rise of the Lycans. Sonja is the daughter of the vampire's powerful older Viktor (played in the role by Bill Nighy). Mitra was fond of her vampire fangs in the course of filming. They even refused to remove them when they were impossible to discern. "I put those fangs in the first day. I found it odd that they were there. That's why I kept them all the time I was shooting, all through my dialogue, and even everything else." Stargate Universe was a series that had three episodes featuring her.
