Zoe Saldana was born on June 19, 1978 in Passaic, New Jersey, to Asalia Nazario and Aridio Saldana. Her birthplace was in New Jersey's Passaic to Asalia Nazario and Aridio Saldana. Her parents raised their daughter within Queens, New York. When she was 10 years old, she and her parents relocated to the Dominican Republic. They lived in the Dominican Republic for seven more years.
