Sheryl is a famous American actor, comedian, television host and is most well-known for hosting the popular daytime chat show The Talk. She was born in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl has a turbulent family. She was a lot of her childhood taking care of Frankie. Frankie suffered from the disease polio. When she was a child, she had an uneasy relationship with her mom. Sheryl claims that in the past, her mother would stab her father due to him becoming too close to her. After her graduation from college, Sheryl became a military officer. Her passion was comedy. She was chosen as the first woman to be a finalist of the Miller Lite Comedy Search, held in 1989. In 1992 she made her TV debut with regular appearances on the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as a host on the TV program Oh Drama! Presently, she is a co-host on Talk Talk since 2011. In addition, she has appeared on fictional show like Bulworth Niki and Beauty Shop.
