Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy was born in Miami Florida on 16 April 1996. She is half English mixed with Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker as well as Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine and Scottish English descendance. Her mother is of Spanish and English roots. The Taylor-Joy family was a clan of six children. Four of them are siblings from her previous marriage to Taylor's father. They resided in Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, after which they moved to the Victoria district of London. Taylor Joy claims that her move to England was extremely stressful. She was not willing to study English and hoped she could relocate back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the moved from Northlands. Then she attended Queen's Gate School in London in which she attended ballet classes as well as participated in plays. After she turned 16, she quit school to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy was always aware of her desire to be an actor. Her dream was granted a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management and was offered the opportunity to model.
